Micro-O?

    Is this a micro-o VAM? Seller states so, but not on PCGS label.

    It looks like an oval "O" to me instead of a round "Micro O".

    Medium O not micro (or small as described for 1880).

    I believe the mirco O's are counterfeits.

    BTW there isnt a premium for 1880 O small o/ medium o varieties. Ive even noticed dealers asking $150 for AU 1880 small o. They refer to it as a micro o to hype the coin and possibly decieve uneducated buyers. Neither size MM is rare per se & BEWARE of sliders for 79-80o a chunk of them circulated briefly and went right back to the bank vaults.

    Some are. Some aren't. 1899 has authentic micro-o's for instance and those are all top-100's.

    The 1880o's have medium & "small" o reverses. Some of the small o's are "list" vams but not all. The op coin appears to be a medium o
