I always prefer to say World coins, because "foreign" is such a relative term. A United States coin would be a foreign coin to one of our European members.

Gee, which one should I post? Here- you pick one! LOL

Maybe I'll go with this relatively recent purchase:

Oops! I had a "brain fart". I was going to do World coins, Currency, Medals and tokens with Foral designs and somehow it can out how it did.
    Is this the correct forum?

Why not? It's Coin Chat. You're suggesting a coin-themed chat. So... yeah.

I don't consider Puerto Rico a foreign country. It is known as a commonwealth territory of the United States. But the items might be foreign (Strange, unknown) to some.

Here is one of my favorite world coins. This specimen was made in Paris, France as denoted by the "A" mintmark, and was engraved by Ernest Paulin Tasset.
It is bronze with a 35mm dia, and a weight of 20 grams, with a smooth edge.
These were also made at the Heaton mint in Birminghan, England that used an "H" mintmark.

I do not currently have a Uruguayan coin, but I do have a sunface- from Peru.

Since this all I collect I could post for days on this thread. So, I will just post my newest addition.

Salzburg 1758 Thaler. It arrived yesterday and looks nicer than the sellers photos, although obviously cleaned at some point.
