I have read that PCGS rewards currency with a PPQ designation.

Is that also a designation that commands a higher price? I would assume so, but about how much premium? The item I was referring to is a 1928 $1 silver certificate graded 40PPQ. Thanks

A PPQ designation may add up to 20% added premium to most graded notes.

On an XF note, the PPQ is letting you know the overall condition is original. The note has not been washed or pressed. No tears, pinholes, stains, or other major distractions.

Thanks. I'm new to currency collecting.
