This penny obviously seen a better day and surprisingly you can still read LIBERTY ON the headband but does a penny like this have any collectors value??
Donate it to a small museum somewhere and write off $10. They'll get more out of it and you will too.
Heavily corroded and cleaned. Almost certainly a ground find, probably dug by a detectorist. I agree that it's worth less than 50c as is, unfortunately.
