    Yep, those medals - there are several, with different dates, figures and designs - illustrate the "galloping" inflation in those days. In German the term Hungermedaille is pretty common among collectors when it comes to them, mostly because of the depicted mother and child scene.

    I really like these old French Agriculture medals.I couldn't find an engravers sig on this one. I would have thought it would be signed.
