The guy wants to sell it for 850.00 not familiar with paper but have tried to do quick research and this seems reasonable but have no CLUE!! I have look at other grades and other bills of 1934 for comparison this out of my league and comfort zone. Any of you got any comments.. stay away, too much or I how dumb I am ?
It’s a good price if you don’t mind a negative notation on the back of the holder. I’m guessing that’s why it’s so inexpensive.
OK Thanks, so 30 is a bad grade then even with foreign junk on it. My thinking it is real cause it is graded is the only thing I was worried about being cheap it was a fake to good to be true... so much for that line of thinking. the foreign matter detracts from it what you're saying got it!!
It is definitely a budget note; if you can afford to pay more hold out for a nicer example. Otherwise, I would say that it is reasonably priced all considering and I would consider acquiring said note if I was in the market and it fell within my budget of what I could afford.
30 isn’t a bad grade, it’s the foreign substance that makes it unappealing. I would pay more for the same grade with no substance notations. I’d pay even more for a better grade.
I think I am backing out of deal seems like a scam disappeared then re appeared under new profile too risky for me unless he agrees to my stipulations. probably just pass, he wants to throw in silver dollars because of mis changing profile.. for free that's the kicker for me
Well that would be a keeper, $850 is more then a fair price have gotten in to these allot lately now on the hunt for a well represented $1,000 bill both these denominations have really increased in value the past couple of years here’s my Chicago example.
These are getting harder and harder to find at a reasonable price, you will find allot of them with comments ! those are not for me this note is problem free. the A/U grade provides a much better value, this includes uncirculated ones anything like a 65 I will pass on that centering is always bad ! $850 x4 ?...LOL
3.400.00 AU 55..... saw a 1,000 go higher Xmas eve.1934 $1,000 Federal Reserve Note Kansas City - Fr#2211-Jlgs - PMG 55 AU 5,700 cha ching my wife would have skint me alive.
Lots of new buyers of Large Denomination bills......in mid-AU grades $500 bills used to cost $1,500 to $2,500....MS double it......$1,000 bills in mid-AU were $2,500 and almost 2x if in MS.
