World Coins: Your Newest Acquisition!

I've wanted one of these for a long time, finally picked one up.

I picked this 1884 Austri-Hungarian 2 Florin today. I've been working on a large denomination type set for Franz Joseph for a while. KM-2233 36mm silver

 

This 1936 Canadian dollar arrived today.

Very attractive patina although my images fail to capture either the luster
or the violet highlights this coin possesses.

 

A few weeks ago I found the 1882 Mexican 5 Centavos coin now in the hunt for the other twos's and ones minted that year . I picked up the 2 yesterday.

 

An old dear friend from Coin talk gave me this Half Crown as a gift some years back...when Dave was a nightly feature here... Well here's a call out to my Mate in Moate Ireland I picked up 39 Florin Dave.....Hope all is well my friend. Happy Holidays Cheers

 

My latest 1908-S Philippines 1 Peso silver.
And I didn't know before, these were actually minted in San Francisco!

Now I own 3 of them, and I plan to buy more.

 

This coin has been on my wish list for a few years. They don't come up often and the price was always more than I wanted to spend. Finally captured one at $56. Krause list is $110 for whatever that is worth. Spots on capsule, coin is flawless.

The coin denomination is only 50 Cents. But it is a whopping 50 mm in diameter and 2.2722 ounces ASW.

I saw these and fell in love with them immediately. They're silver with an "antique finish." Apparently there is a whole series of these from different countries. I'd like to learn what all of them are but I'm not sure what to look up. One seller on eBay has several of them and other than that there don't seem to be many available. There are at least five that I really wanted but I didn't think I could justify spending the money. I don't have these in hand, and they're coming from Germany, but here are the seller's pictures.

No. I was looking around on Google and couldn't find anything about the series. There are coins from Tokelau, Gabon, Congo and Ghana at least from years between 2012 and 2016. I saw somewhere that the mintage on the lion that I posted was 2,000. That's about all I found so far.

The latest addition to my bears collection. 1798 Bern (Switzerland) 4 kreuzer. There is a glare on the side of the scan. Nothing wrong with the edge of the coin.
