These aren't my normal cup of tea but at $8 each, I couldn't leave them behind. Probably still overpriced but worth it for fun pocket pieces.








These were cheap too.

 

$8 each? That's a great price for those early coins. Would have taken that in a heartbeat.

 

The eagle looks cool at least.

That 38s certainly looks like a rpm. Clear as day.

 

A lot better than the typical socks and pajamas.

 

Unfortunately, that is just die deterioration "doubling." No RPM.

I have to give USPS a thumbs up. I check the status of my final coin for my birth year set, and it was put in my post office box today Sunday @4:04 PM.

 

However, the steps on the 1953-D look pretty darn close to rare air for that issue....

 

I was going to make a joke about them being "PCGS Full Steps"...lol...but held back. Until now.

This is one of those coins where, no matter how many times you look at it, it doesn't change to be what you want it to be.

 

Go look at the CoinFacts plate coins for FS, and check out a few (from NGC too) at Heritage, like I did before posting what I did.

 

I was unable to see a full step, How are they able to even give the designation?

 

Can't have one, without the other. I am in so much trouble.
