I found this going through some of my wheats I put back. It looks like it might be a rim to rim die crack. I don't see this one on Cuds on coins. It's a shame it has so much verdigris. Some of it looks like a crack, then others look like corrosion. If you say it's a crack. Then!

yeah you're right some of it does look like corrosion especially around the TR area of trust. Would/can Verdigris work on a die crack over time and cause something like that?

Verdi care would work on something like that. I would soak it in distilled water for a couple of days before I tried something stronger.

When I say work on the die crack what I mean is would can corrosion work on the crack and cause it to look more like corrosion than the crack. It is definitely a die crack but near the TR it does look more like corrosion. I'm fairly certain it is rim to rim but I'm by no means an expert.

I wouldn't call myself one either. The corrosion leads me to think PMD. Maybe a lamination.

    Bisecting, is the word ;)

I'm not to sure. Both sounds seem to be some kind of old gunk.

A soak in Verdicare and gentle conservation would bear it out.

You're right it is spelled Bisecting but auto fill for some reason spells it the other way
