    I would like to enter for a chance to win this silver dollar. Cheery post: Chocolate chip pancakes and blueberry pancakes are what my 3- and 4-year-olds asked for breakfast, so that is what I am currently mixing up.

    That's awesome. My one and two year old grandbabies spent the night and just finished up the southern breakfast of champions. Cheese grits and scrambled eggs.

    I’m in on this because it would be a great gift for someone I have been trying to entice to the hobby.

    As for happy, I’m very happy to have both daughters home from school and look forward to them opening the excessive amount of presents under the tree.

    To add some coin flavor, here are some cuff links that a dealer showed me but wouldn’t sell

    Well, folks, it's now two days until Christmas, and we've made this journey since Thanksgiving. It has been a fun ride. But now it is time for the final round in this, the 2024 COINmas contest.

    LET ROUND 12 BEGIN!

    A pair of silver Seated Liberty dimes (1850 and 1854-O).

    The 1854 is of course from the old New Orleans Mint ("O" mintmark within the wreath).

    There will also be some additional "mystery prize" items.

    To enter this round, all you need to do is:

    1. Say that you want this lot, and
    2. post something else coin-related or cheerful.

    Then, sometime in the next 2 days, either on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day (depending on my schedule), we'll do the drawing and conclude the contest.

    You may of course say you want this lot for someone else, if you name that person.

    I want this. The only dime I currently have is a mercury dime. Adding silver would be great.

    For my cheerful note...
    I'm 40 some years old and this Christmas will be the 1st time I've met my father. Gonna be one to remember guys and gals!

    Please count me in on this one!
    If you’ve been following me on past contests I’ve longed for this pair of dimes. And just like in the past, if I win I’ll be gifting one of these to a Boy Scout I’m helping with on his coin collecting merit badge. I’ve always loved Seated coinage and these two look like they’ve done admirable service in commerce.
