GTG: 1925 St. Gaudens Double Eagle

    Here is a 1925 St. Gaudens Double Eagle that is part of my collection. The coin was won in a contest by my grandmother back in the 1970s and she gave it to be a little more than a decade ago (shortly before she passed away). I have since had it graded and it now lives in a PCGS slab. So, what do you think it grades:

    Also, always trying to improve my coin photography. Any advice or critiques are always welcome. :)

    It would be easier to judge in hand, but I think MS-64.

    I grade it at 63, but I,ve seen many that look 63, but grade 64 or 65.

    Gold is tougher for me to grade, because it's softer and they allow more hits because of that. But I'm at MS-63 on this as well.

    I don't know the series so this is just a guess. MS65
