Hi guys n gals... Back with a new anomaly. I suppose it could be something that happened during minting, like a die broke or something. Kind of leaning towards PMD. But it doesn't seem to play fair in that aspect either... So... Out to the judges the jury let's see where it goes, shall we? I'm calling it a Frankenstein Frankenerror for now. Pretty sure you'll all will either have seen something like this before. A lot of cumulative years in the group... And though some don't respect it, I do. So let's get the party started, shall we?
Your photos get blurry when I try to enlarge but it appears to me that this was damaged after it left the mint so PMD. Welcome to CT.
It's all DEFDAM - Definitely Damaged It has absolutely nothing to do with respect or disrespect. It has to do with learning the difference between true mint errors and post mint damage. Think whatever you want, that doesn't make it an kind of error. Not a mint error of any kind unfortunately.
