I found this Constantine ii coin. I think it's a a copper-alloy nummus of Constantine II (AD 317-340) dating to the period AD 320-321. Probably BEATA TRANQVILITAS reverse type depicting globe on altar inscribed VOT/IS/XX in three lines,. Possible London mint , but the radiate head is confusing me the only parallel I can get is Constantine ii as ceaser. And help appreciated thank you.
it's like this one-- Constantine II A.D. 322-323 CONSTANTI-NVS IVN NC; radiate and cuirassed bust left. BEAT TRA-NQLITAS; globe on altar inscribed VOT / IS / XX, three stars above; F/B across fields. In ex. PLON RIC VII London 257
Bronze coin (AE3) minted at Londinium for CONSTANTINE II, as Caesar in 335 A.D. Obv. CONSTANTINVS.IVN.N.C Helmeted & cuirassed bust l. Rev. BEAT.TRANQLITAS.VOTIS.XX. Altar inscribed VOT/IS/XX with globe atop, three stars over globe. RCS #3941. RICVIII #312. DVM #31.
You have several errors in your description. This coin is from London, so it could not have been struck in A.D. 335, as the London mint closed in A.D. 325. Your coin is radiate, draped and cuirassed, seen from the rear and is not RIC VIII 312. This coin was issued during the period RIC VII covers. Your coin is actually not listed in RIC VII for the bust type (C2 left) for this issue; but many examples are known. It should have been listed after RIC VII London 253. It is listed in The London Mint of Constantius & Constantine (LMCC) as 9.06.026
