    9th day entry post. I love benjamin half dollars ever since I was a small boy and robbed them from my oldest sister's tips from her job at the drive-in. I think she knows who it was. To atone for my sins, I will give my post up for the next post after me. Here is my 1957 D. Regards

    That is such a cool photo. I had always thought cardinals lost their bright coloration in the winter.

    Legend has it when a cardinal shows up it's actually someone you loved who has passed on. My dad died 18 years ago and we were having our family Christmas at Mom's when the cardinal appeared. Mom joked that maybe the cardinal was Dad and he was wanting in on the festivities.
