    I'm one of 9, with 8 siblings (4 are step-siblings but we've been together for almost 40 years so we're all just family) and yeah... Christmas can get expensive with even the smallest of gifts! The extended-family tree is like a maze of branches lol! But it makes for some stellar family parties!!:D

    My Round 3 Winning Lot Arrived today!!!
    I want to again thank lordmarcovan and Randy Abercrombie for having this contest!
    The Seated Liberty Dime and Half Dime coins are great,
    and the extras included are also very nice!
    I also no longer have the excuse of doing something when I "get a round to it" as a round "Tuit" was also included.:)

    I believe that John Adams dollar in the sample slab originally came from me. I'm a descendant of his.

    A 1951-D (West) Germany 2 Deutsche mark coin, NGC certified AU58.

    Numista-4675, KM-111.

    NGC cert. #2630716-018.

    This coin bears the "D" mintmark of Munich. It has typical white to off-white coloration with average luster. It is not as dark or dull as it appears in these low-quality cellphone photos. The KM catalog value is $32 in XF40 and $75 in MS60, so you can extrapolate the book value of this AU58 example to fall somewhere in between.

    There will also be some additional "mystery prize" items.

    To enter this round, all you need to do is:

    1. Say that you want this lot, and
    2. post something else coin-related or cheerful.

    Then, sometime in the next 2-4 days (depending on my schedule), we'll do the drawing and move on to the next round.

    You may of course say you want it for someone else, if you name that person.

    You should go to Vegas, or pick some lottery numbers! ;)

    I just think it’s hilarious (and cool) that you’ve now won for three other people in this contest, and yet the one prize you’ve gotten yourself was when someone else won it for you!

    One of these days we should have a contest where nobody enters for themselves- only for other people. Might be interesting. (But that’s not what I’m suggesting for this one.)

    Out of seven rounds so far in this contest, five have been won by proxy (in other words, by people who nominated someone else to win a prize).

    If that doesn’t say something about the holiday spirit, I don’t know what does.
