Well, we have the end of the year goals. Let's see what everyone has for goals for next year. Mine is 60 ounces of silver through hunting halves. I would have set it higher but Wells Fargo in my area is pulling out all of there coin machines. Boxes will be tough to get from them and that cuts 5 places for me to dump at. That leaves me with my other bank where there are only 3 coin machines close to me. I may open another account but having three accounts, 2 just for CRH I really have to think about.
Wow 60 oz is a lot! Do you usually get more than that? I haven't CRH in awhile but I hope to start again once I move. If I could get 12oz for the year that would be great to me since I don't have that much time to do it.
I'd really like to find an older coin than the couple of 1858 FE's I found in 2014, but I am not going to put my hand on my bum...
Wow if I could find one Flying Eagle that would be amazing. Also if I could finish the box of wheat rolls ($25) I started that would be cool.
I've been averaging 8 ounces a month the last three months. I figure I will have to shave that number down for next year due to my primary bank getting rid of the coin machines and being less likely to give out boxes. 60 ounces is not that much compared to what some people on this site get. Check Truble and CT RollHunters hauls.
I'm a big half dollar fan and try my best to CRH but lately I've been having a hard time finding a bank that has them. Most recently I was told if I wanted them I would have to order them. What do you think of ordering $100 at a time or more?
Order Full $500 boxes. If you are doing boxes it has to be in bulk in order to get anything consistently. There are some who do 13 boxes a week on here. I do 5-8.
Wow! But makes sense. None of my banks have coin machines so I would have to roll them back up again.
I ran into that situation on a business trip to Dallas and Fort Worth last week. When they don't have machines they are used to getting rolls in. Spread out your dumps to several banks.
I would like to start organizing this mess I have. Learn more about error coins and Morgan's and cents. Somewhere in there I would like to attend a coin show or two and join the Red Rose coin club in Lancaster.

My goals are going to be tough. 60oz. With my main bank getting rid of their coin machines I'll have to get creative with my dumps. Maybe $750.00 at each bank. This might make it rough on the tellers who have to haul it back to the coin machines.
I probably won't set any "find" goals for 2017 until the year is over... I want to complete my Jefferson Nickel set (missing the 50-D), and also my Lincoln 1934-1958 short set (missing 5 of 71 coins) by the end of this year. I hope (God willing) to search through more than 1.5 million coins next year of all denominations combined with at least 100,000 of each denomination from cent thru half.
