I absolutely want this lot! That AH1392 Egyptian 10-piastre is stunning—such a beautiful design, and a one-year type makes it even more special. The Islamic falcon motif is such an elegant nod to history. Hats off to @lordmarcovan for offering up this gem (and the mystery prizes too—always exciting)!
For something coin-related and cheerful, here's a tidbit: Did you know the oldest coin still in circulation is the British 1-penny coin featuring Queen Elizabeth II's first portrait from 1953? It's always fascinating to think about the journeys these coins go through over decades—or centuries!

This coin is really intriguing! I'm a big fan of world coins, though I haven't found the best storage options for them. However, I could easily add it to my collection of slabbed U.S. and world coins. On the other hand, I could pass it along to my younger brother, who shares my interest in numismatics and has a particular fondness for world coins.

I would like to enter for this second drawing. Thank you! My cheerful comment: Last two weeks of school! I will be headed back to Maine with my family for winter break for a much-needed break next week. Greek is tougher than I ever imagined. (I am a linguistic student with an interdisciplinary in biblical languages)

That is too cute. And I sure hope we don't need bathrooms in heaven. I spent the last 45 years of my life making a living doing bathroom work. I have seen enough bathrooms to last me an eternity!

Skunks don’t bother anyone! Raccoons are cute but nasty! They carry lots of animal diseases and make a mess! I’ve had coyotes, raccoons, foxes, skunks, deer, opossum, feral cats, and birds come and eat at Dans!
