Not that T-Rex it's just good ol' silver. The glow in the dark dinosaur coins have a full colour image on them and a face value of 25 cents. Not sure if they did a T-Rex glow in the dark but I don't think so.

To whoever had the misfortune of drawing me... Steve Hayden's bi-annual auction ends Sunday. Just sayin'.

 

Here are a few closeups. Any guestimate on the grade? I have no idea on these coins!

 

RPM 006 looks like to me .

 

I can't tell the difference between F12 and AU50 on a Buff. Seems to me like they just assign whatever grade corresponds with the day of the month, so wait a couple weeks before asking.

 

For some reason, I am not getting updates on this thread. I'm reposting to try to do so. Also, I'm hopefully picking up the rest of my gift for my recipient at the coin show in Annandale Show today.

 

My bad after copying the image now it looks more like the RPM 009. Without the image being shot at 90 degrees it's hard to tell mm placement. it looks 64 or better grade wise. A very nice 38 specimen .

Got my gift in the mail. Am opening on Christmas .
Supposed to be getting my giftees gift in the mail on Monday and will get it out before the end of the week.

 

Did I open a can of worms for a coin I just gave someone that I didn't know much about, but hey that is a nice piece to get others involve with.

 

My giftee's gift goes out tomorrow.

 

It worked! Point of note, I'll be traveling for the Holidays and have a mail hold put in. If I don't get it by Wednesday, I'll be opening it when I return and posting late!

Ok my present has been received by the other end and so I hope you like what I sent you as well.

 

Got my package today. I'll hold out opening for a while, maybe not. Christmas is too far away.

 

I got my secret santa package today. pics of them when I am able to. like a kid in a candy store.... I had to open it. I got 8 world coins from Maxfli. thank you so much. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

 

Received my package today as well. I had intended to wait until Christmas for the reveal, but the contents were not gift wrapped, so the cat was out of the bag, so to speak, as soon as I opened the padded shipping envelope.

I'll wait until others start posting pics to reveal more details, but for now, suffice to say I'm overwhelmed by this generous gift. Thank you, Secret Santa!
