1807 Large Cent-Comet Variety

    Here’s my 1807 “Comet” variety Large Cent. This was from a die break behind Liberty’s head, just above her hair ribbon. There is also a small die break to the right of the Y in LIBERTY. It shows clearly in the middle photo.

    I forgot to say that there are 5 varieties of this date and that a total of 829,221 were minted. The comet variety is the second highest priced of the five but it’s the most popular.
