Anyone have a good collection of books to learn more about coins. My modest collection of coin related books.

With so much online I don't have many books. Charlton catalogs for Canadian coins, the ones with special sections on dollars and half dollars, and a couple used ones from the 60s and 70s (cheap) so I could see when certain coins got popular/pricey. Bowers' guidebook of Barber silver coins, 2nd & 3rd edition, the latter was a waste of money, almost nothing new, basically just a reprint of the 2nd. Burdette's experimental coinage of 1942 because of a short-lived interest.

I have many but I need to one day take a picture of all of them together.

    You need this one,

I see you don't have any books dedicated to Mint Errors. You're not interested in the subject?

IMO, best book ever by Dave Bowers:

I used to have a fair number of books, but over the years they have been passed on to coin collectors in the younger generations so that they could have access to the knowledge contained within them.

From the bottom up, and left to right - (hopefully I got 'em all in the correct order)

I keep mine mostly constrained to this space. The VAM book pictured is a signed hardcover, not my working copy. I actually have several signed books on this shelf, now that I think about it.

WOW. As I sit here in the jumbled mess of coin books, Journals, and stacks of notes on printer paper: for once in my life I am happy I haven't figured out how to post a picture with my new smart phone. James
