Uncirculated Morgans in that mint and year are hard to come by. With every grade up, the price grows astronomically. That's not a bad one, aside from a damaged rim, but I believe you upgraded several notches.
This coin looks so much better in hand than the auction photos show. I took these photos with my phone.
my latest.....isn't......just cancelled the 24 morgan and peace reverse proof subscription. got an email saying it was getting ready to ship.
Finally found an 1899 Morgan that hasn't been cleaned! It's got some issues for certain, but still a decent-enough coin that shouldn't necessarily need to be upgraded down the line.
I just recently finished off my Ike album. I know that not many people actually admire these coins, particularly in higher grades, but it looks like you've got a nice album there!
I just completed my mini Morgan Silver Dollar collection of ALL key dates and ALL Carson City business releases in circulated (a few VERY circulated) grades. The 1893-S pic'd here was my final piece, purchased from my local brick front PNG dealer. I bit the bullet and traded (sold) an 80's 1 oz gold bullion piece + cash to fill the last hole in my Morgan collection. My limited budget forced me to lower grades for the 1893 S Poor/Fair/Good range and it was very difficult, over a long search period and loosing two auctions by seconds to find something somewhat attractive with a compromise for some detail (some Fair and below were practically flat and detail-less) despite being CAC sticker'd and compromising on something that may not have been ridiculously cleaned. A leading FAIR contender was almost worn flat, detail and date faint-at-best but original surface and more expensive due to a CAC. If I was gonna pay THIS much for a coin I compromised for detail and some possible past cleaning.
