If you think that ICG coins worth the same as PCGS then I hope you have a big truck load up on ICG coins.
Show me a housewife in the 1960s who wasn't buying Clorox bleach at 3X the price of ordinary bleach. Yeah, you've been had.
Certainly not from you. If you can refute my statement, do it. Otherwise leave this discussion to those that obviously know more than you. I suggest you sit back, keep quiet and learn sonny.
Yup...just yesterday my wife asked me to buy bleach and warned me "Buy Clorox, not that bargain brand"...I bought the bargain brand. In the same vein, how did Alka-Selzer double their sales?
I can answer the Alka-Selzer one; classic case study and we just actually looked at it in my advertising class a couple weeks ago. Very simply all they did was instruct consumers to take two tablets instead of one in a new advertising campaign. Hook, line and sinker consumers went for it and sales essentially doubled.
Most of the basis of this thread is 10 years old. New members would be better served reading more recent postings on this oft-discussed topic.
Sure, but a new member asked a question. Should he be ignored simply because this is an old thread? Perhaps you feel differently, but I see no harm in answering him. We also often talk about welcoming newbies in positive ways, and I can't imagine it feels very welcoming to be ignored simply because someone isn't familiar with generally accepted CT etiquette.
I agree. You answered his question. I suggested looking up more recent discussions on the topic. In fact, the new member, I'm sure, would get plenty of help and viewpoints by starting his own thread.
The coins are worth exactly the same regardless of which slab entombs them. A "70"is a "70"...the slabs themselves are worth different amounts, though.
