Error coin?

    It is the same coin in both pics. I haven't a clue what I have, that's why I found this site to get help. So what would the misaligned die strike be worth?

    Yes, it is a misaligned die, but I never like to estimate value for an error coin because there are too many bidiots out there. If only one person is interested, it might only sell for a couple of bucks at auction. On the other hand, if two or more people are interested in it, there is no telling how high it might go at auction.

    That is about as misaligned as I have ever seen for any pair of coin dies save ancients, of course.

    No, it's not an off-center strike and is a great example of why both obverse and reverse pictures are important.

    Still a nice find! Real nice!

    I found one of these in a roll and listed it on eBay at 99c for the opening bid. It went for .99!
