Just back from the coin show and Daniel Carr 64-D Peace Dollar has reach a new levels . First one came to the table and the gentlemen said it was in the safety box for years . Of course he was told it's a Daniel Carr Piece and all hell broke out .
What a hilarious, totally entertaining and embarrassing post!!!!!!! Awesome read. Thank you for the great laughs!
Watch your tongue!!! How dare you make such a claim when we all know, because it's been rammed down our throats countless times, this could "never" happen! Remember, because Carr's copies sell for premiums, this automatically means no one would ever, ever, EVER think one is the real thing or try to eek an even larger return out by passing off as something it's not. That said, I can only assume this person didn't happen to notice his "signature" so clearly marked on the "coin". As the man will tell you himself, the "date" is his "signature"...
Chris, I don't think I've ever seen you so philosophical. But let's credit the monkey graders with at least an assist in the demise of this hobby. They're making monkeys out of us. Coincidently, we're attracting monkeys. Ooh, how does this freaking work?
Geez! I already said that I have a thin skin, so stop yelling at me. Why did you have to quote my post twice? Do you have Alzheimer's? Chris
I try to help people that have never seen an error, error coins is what got me into collecting coins I know that there are a bunch of people that are only worried about how much can I get from it but I was the same way when I started. Since then I have been selling error coins that I KNOW are true errors that I dont care to part with for my new addiction which is completing sets of coins be it IHC, Washingtons....ETC. I dont mind helping with my limited knowledge
And don't you ever, you know, sleep or something. This is what I like to call my quiet time, that I can harass others without interruption.
I have never understood why some people believe they must spend 24+ years of their life sleeping. It's just like people who spend their winter vacation, here, in Florida. They go to the beach and sleep all day. What the hell! Why didn't they just stay home and save the money? Chris
Retired, a little early, do mostly volunteer work at the P.D./Firehouse now, and lurk here of coarse.
