Your Cent has Zinc Rot. And there is information on it.

A little pictulated. I agree for zinc rot. The copper platteing is so thin.

 

It's Zinc Rot. What you see behind the D is just a plating issue... In 1990 the Mintmark was part of the obverse die design. It was not punched is so it cannot and it is not a RPM D/D..

its just the zinc its not a double not worth saving just spend it

 

This is Friday I have a 1968 penny with the in the letter w look it have a error in look closely at word in God we trust and the word so close to the Rim and that (w) is thick.
