    We all have coins that are gorgeous. but we sort of forget about them since there are so many others to look at. I just happened to see this photo and I was struck once again by this non-special issue.

    It is this one for me. Years back I bought this as a bullion purchase to be tossed in the safe deposit box and forgotten about. But I just fell in love with the piece for a number of reasons. It never made it to the SDB.
