    I agree. I have never seen an ancient of that type. The style of the owl looks wrong too.

    Certainly a modern fantasy, the two sides were copied from different coins. The head is reminescent of the Thracian bronzes with Dionysus while the reverse is clearly copied from the famous Athens tetradrachm. Style and workmanship are completely wrong for the ancient originals but even if perfect would never be found together on one coin.
