    This morning,

a very nice shiny 2009 Canadian Nickel and a 2001 "2 cent" Euro
    I didn't know Euro's came in "2" cents..

I have noticed that the copper? Euro's aren't struct very hard and lack alot of detail..

UPDATE so in my scooper from the other day, one of the nickels was funky and I couldn't really get a date. The one on the far right, the reverse is MUCH WORSE.
I cleaned it a little and with my loupe I see it is a 1945-P. My second Coin Star silver nickel. The other one I have is a very smooth 1942-S.

Peter, Peter. Those aren't washers. They're Chinese "round" coins.:p

Silver dime in the Coinstar tray today. Been a while since I've found silver in one.

This is not a Coinstar or reject tube find but it is a pretty cool change find from a self checkout: a 1941-S quarter!

Silver quarters are not commonly found in circulation. What's cool is that I had set it up to essentially maximize the amount of coins I'd get back as change just to see what I would get. The effort surprisingly paid off quite well!

Another handful today but from a different coinstar.
About $3 US including a silver quarter, a CDN quarter, 2 5 eurocents, a 2 kronor, and an old MX 5 centavo. Don't forget the battery and rubber band.

26 cents in the slot, plus a nickel on the shelf. It all seems spendable.

Jenson and the dollar coin. I think I have only pulled 3 of those.
A president maybe NIFC, a 1999-D SBA (good date) and a Lincoln.

IMG_20241126_211045010.jpg I went to a bank branch I rarely go to today to cash out my coins from coin roll hunting. The bag was full so I needed someone to change it out fore so I could continue. When she had the top opened up I peeked I. The reject/trash tray as I always do. I saw a few coins in there so I asked if I could have them. Besides the .54 cents I came up with two wheat pennies with one of them being in a capsule for whatever reason. Also a 1959 dime and Mexican .50 piece.

Today was the first time I ever reached into the Coinstar reject tray, my prize was a 1943-S Mercury dime. Now I'm hooked.

Maybe you will have better luck than me. First time I ever checked coin star I also got a silver dime. No silver since.
