Hi All, Ran across this coin today. Can't figure out what's going on with it. The rim doesn't look right. I have a shot at buying it for a small amount. But I wanted to check here first,in case its just PMD. Thanks for any feedback. broadstruckcentobv.jpg broadstruckcentrev.jpg

Don't pay more than a penny because that coin is damaged.

Since the 10-S is a key date, it's still prob a $10 coin.

Did you compare the diameter with another cent, or measure it? It looks like it has extra distance from wheat ears to edge. Which still could be PMD. And I agree with Michael K on value, But it is a hole filler. Gouge on back of head, X scrach on obverse, rim missing, wear on E Pluribus Unum.

Someone had fun playing with that coin. Although $10 is in the territory of a price, I bet you would be very lucky to get that much.
