1961 lincoln penny error or pmd?

The surface of this coin looks a little br different, Thought I ask if someone could explain to me what this is. I was wondering if this is acid damage possibly. Thank you.

I don't think it's acid damage.
Looks worn due to circulation.
The strange appearance could be the result of an Improper Alloy Mix when they made the sheets of copper.

You might be correct sir. I did want to ask and point out that the "FG" and the "lincoln" sitting inside the memorial building are missing
Could this be caused by the improper alloy mixing?
