Hmph. I walked right past that one. We should add the collar clash to that one; it's a prime pickup considering how few collar clashes there are.
Those are the little details which exasperate me about VAMworld. At least with this being Jason's coin, we can get some definitive images posted. One variety at a time, that's how it has to be done.
My guess is no as Leroy would have mentioned it in his letter and it would have made its way into the listing. So maybe this could be a new sub variety. I_think collar clashes are listable
Well, you guys are more than welcome to use my images and if you need the full resolution images for further study, just shoot me a PM. If this turns out to be a new listing or sub-listing, I would just like the credit for it.
This may need to be sent to Leroy after all. Join VW and ask David close if this vam is known for a collar clash. If not it's a new sub variety and your first discovery. Maybe since @messydesk said he found it in the suplement he may know if it's originally listed with a collar clash or not.
Dave FYI Jason is really Justin ,and hates being call Jacqueline .... Jackie works on the second Tuesday of next week. on Wednesday you can call him Al.
I'm guessing that when it was listed (2013), the person that sent it in didn't care about any collar clash, since there was a major interior die break. Leroy probably didn't care, either. The die stage looks about the same as the one pictured in the supplement as the discovery coin, so chances are it has the collar clash as well. If this were to be sent to Leroy, I doubt he'd make an additional listing for it, but rather simply revise the existing listing to make the collar clash a footnote until it can be determined when it happened.
"I am serious, and don't call me Shirley" I've been called Jason so many times, I just answer to it anymore. It's just easier that way. LOL
