Up for your consideration tonight is an 1935 Boone commemorative with a 1934 hallmark residing on the reverse side of the coin. It's not among the best of my recent accumulations of this newest endeavor of mine to complete a date and mintmark series of the run, but it ain't too shabby either. Tell me what you think and I'll let ya know the answer in a day or two.......
63 works for me too, but comparing the top and third pictures of the obverse, I guess that it's the lighting, but top coin looks more like 64, while the third pic seems 63ish IMO.
Nice photos and nice coin! MS 65....relatively clean fields with solid luster...some hits prevent me from going higher
I voted 64 but my personal grading puts it at 63. I just think the hits in the obverse central focal fields are too much for a 64.
You know I hate giving grade opinions off pics, but in this case, I'm making an exception because I love this specimen. I voted twice, first, line 1 (except I scratched out the word "again" - but my screen is now damaged). My second vote was 64; pics 1 & 4 kept me from going higher. Nevertheless, that's a mighty nice specimen!
OK, sorry for the late update. I'm gonna post some more photogs with some different camera tweaks (f-stop, ISO) and give some more folks a chance to chime in. Anyone who wants to change their guess is welcome to it.....
Yeah.....I didn't do much more in the post processing except to add a little more brightness and contrast. Congrats to pickin' and grinnin' on getting the right grade.
