1885 gold dollar, ex-D.L. Hansen Collection

    That’s a 1686 Saint Lambert’s communion token (mereau) from Liege in Belgium. Part of a big lot of such “skull & bones” tokens I got several years back. They’re super popular and I sold all of them, but held that piece back for my collection. PCGS later graded it XF45.

    And someone later twisted my arm hard enough to sell it, so despite having once owned a bunch of “skully” tokens, I’m now without a single one. :(

    But I keep my eyes on that Belgian firm’s auctions and hope to score another someday.

    I recently noticed @Randy Abercrombie was wearing his Halloween avatar:

    So in celebration of the season, I decided to wear my old “skully” for Halloween. :)

    This one is in an NGC MS-66 holder. Yours might be better. I didn't pay MS-66 money for it.
