Not really what I collect but another collector needed some cash so I helped him and myself. Just couldn't pass up the deal. What I really dislike in the set are the colorized coins that I personally find to be butt ugly. Maybe I'll find someone to trade for what I like, or just pass it down to my granddaughter.
I think it's a beautiful presentation, takes up a lot of space though. Very pricey, if purchased from tv.
Computer is down so more cell phone photos. A two cent piece to continue on the love token type set I'm putting together. Early graded mercury dime and a 1980's grading companies sla.... plastic flip.
I really like the display box, seems to be well made. The key is missing but not a big deal. I checked flea bay for past sales on individual coins and I did rather well. Now if I can convert the trays to fit my Morgan's ha!!!
Merry Christmas to me ! My final Christmas present, birthday, ect... Brought to you by Mr. Doug Winter. Thanks Doug! Write up by Doug also
I didn't start collecting them till 2010, and they seem fine. No special steps, but the area is climate controlled.
Recently went to the Great Smoky Mountains -- one of my favorite places -- and picked this up to remind me of all the great times I've spent there.
Great coin. I got the Whitman U.S. Map coin board for my daughter. She's had fun learning the different parks and states and putting the quarters in their places. ( With assistance. ) She has her own set of gloves, lol. Advisable I think because these are the silver versions of the A.T.B. Quarters. Here are some pics.
I got a REALLY good deal on the board. The LCS I frequent had it priced at 9.95, and he gave it to me for 7.95, so I couldn't pass it up.
