    thank again Rob! I think I’ll try winning the 1943 Mercury dime! Ms66 grade on one of my favorite designs is an easy choice.

    I would like to enter for the 1967 Canada Set.
    The Goose Dollar and Wolf Half Dollar Designs are so nice.
    I believe they are some of the best Canadian designs of the era.

    Entry post. Wow! another contest that will worm its way into my brain. Since the 1864 3 cent is now gone, Ill go for the 1919 Canada Large Cent. I was the first of my Canadian numismatists that discovered a neat variety on the 1919's. Maybe this is another... they're not normal and are hard to see.

    I finally added some (rather poor) pictures of that. The other new prize additions are now also photographed (if rather badly).

    Sorry my pics of that one are not so great, either. With my primary collection, I pay for professional coin photos. But with everything else (like the giveaways), that leaves me with my iPhone as the photographer. And the limitations of that are readily apparent. :rolleyes:

    ENTRY POST for another chance to win the Septimius Severus with tags. His history regarding his early life in North Africa, his wives and children, and the entire Severan dynasty is engrossing to read. I have them in silver denarii but Provincial coinage is great to collect because of the different engraving techniques of the die makers.
    Here he is with his second wife, Julia Domna and their sons Geta and Caracalla

    If I am chosen I think I’d like the 1873 SL quarter. I only have one and it is an 1877-S but it is so badly damaged it barely qualifies as a “cull”.
    This would be an excellent addition to my collection.
