The scratch on the obverse at 8:00 is a shame.

I'm new to collecting but I found this one at work today. Anyone have any idea what it is or where it's from?

OGH. He had to shoot through the slab and I think he did a great job.

I wasn't aware that they made a gold mercury in 1941 also LOL. Great color, great coin.

Robec - Send that in for regrade when you get it trueviewed. Mine went from 67 to 67+, yours should go 66+ or maybe 67.

Did you have it regraded still in the holder, raw or Reconsideration?

I did secure "Regrade." Send in the holder, PCGS removes from holder, regrades, TrueViews, and reholders. The chatter on the lower half of the fasces is the only thing I see in the picture that might keep this from going 67. The obverse is 67 all the way.

Just back from PCGS at AU50. The dealer who sent it in thought it would be 53, and his brother predicted 55. After looking at other photos on the web, I agree with them.
