I've got a couple of week's worth of "reports" to file, but the high note from Thursday came from $6 CWR cents the teller practically begged me to take because they had a musty smell and were "stinking up her drawer." Since coin roll hunting means being no stranger to "gross" conditions, I gladly took them off her hands... and was rewarded with a 1909 (not VDB, but my first from that year), a 1927, and a 1974 with Wyoming counter stamp.

Nice finds! Especially the 1909! Out of curiosity, how far are you from Wyoming?

Those state counterstamps are all over. I believe they were sold as a set. generally mid-70s.

I wonder if the same company made the Lincolns with the Kennedy stamps... same time period...

You're not missing anything. If I keep it, into the 2x2 it goes. Not a waste, I have many more.

I was out of town locked in meeting in Iowa all week. I had 7 Loomis boxes waiting for me. 11 more through the week.

3 of 7 were skunks. Other 4 produced the following

    3-Franklins
    1-1976s (40%)
    11- 1965-1969
Plus the ugliest half dollar I have ever found, not silver but wonder about its history. Have to see if it will go through the CU COINSTAR.

Found these two in a customer roll a few weeks back. I've found nice-looking 40%ers but I was wondering if these two might be SMS coins. Any easy way to tell?

A 1912 hole filler, BU 54-S and 64, and a slider BU 65 cent, along with a 45-P nickel, and a 64-D dime... highlights of 3300 cents, 1800 nickels, and 2200 dimes searched over the weekend... 111316findsobv.png 111316finds.png

A few recent finds--nothing too exciting.
The dime looks like a dryer roller? The edge is QUITE raised with no reeding.
A coupla' die chips and a few nice greasers :)

All this from about $850 worth of CWR.

Haven't reported in a little bit, busy with business travel and no hunting time on the trip. I have done 5 boxes of halves this week all skunks. Will do 3-4 more by Saturday. I averaged a little over 10oz of Silver in September and October. November not looking good so far as I am a little under 2oz. Still have half a month left and I will be aggressively hitting the teller trays for loose halves and CWR. Hopefully I can hit my monthly goal of 10 oz.
