    Not necessarily, but possibly. A pampered life where one only needs snap his fingers and only have to move to relieve oneself just may have played a role.

    @Bing: Wow, the style on that Octavian/Julius piece is crazy! I'm finding it hard to believe that that's an official mint product (even for a provincial coin). The bust of Octavian (right, in your picture) looks like the character of Butthead from "Beavis and Butthead".
