A coinstar this week yielded a handful of change and a silver dime! 1959. I also checked another coinstar and found a british penny. This is the first score in a while.

I should clarify a bit. One of the coins was a 10 Rouble. 9 coins total in the tray.

Still. some old Russian lady was dropping those in and thinking the self checkout accepted them right?

The 5 rouble coins are pretty close to a quarter in size and composition, worth about 10 cents though.

A nickel and cent on a coinstar.
4 quarters and a cent in the reject of the self checkout at the grocery. Does anyone pay attention? Wouldn't you notice that a dollar is not being counted? Your loss is my gain.

Nice find! I have yet to find anything not in the reject bin or on the counter of the coinstar machine.

Thanks! It's the first time I've found anything of significance around, not in, the tray. Only the 2nd silver quarter from a coinstar as well. Dimes are much more prevalent it seems.

Just a dime today. Haven't found any silver in almost 3 months. Pretty strange after averaging 3 coins a month earlier this year.
