They made a ton of these. Yours does not look reprocessed. Even in that condition (AU) the value is only .50 cents.
The 1942 is a very nice MS coin worth about $1.

Just last year I put together a complete war era set. The steel cants are MS65 and MS66... I didn't pay more than $25.00 for any of them and that was only because they were slabbed.... They are a cool slice of history but like @Michael K said, they produced a lot of these so even in top condition they bring very little.

Nice coin. Your steel cent shows signs of being a die clash on the reverse, outline of Abe's nape of neck between the "C & E" of cent.

My LCS sells steel cents like this 6for $1.00. They are different but very common.

For some it might but I don't see one or not one that's obvious. JMO.

Just a comment and a point of interest for some, not worth anything really.

Flip it for what, a couple of cents? I just paid almost $9.00 for two Egg McMuffins. Give to some young collector if you can’t appreciate it. Looks to be in MS or very high AU.

It's a nice coin and a good keeper because of the grade. You will get very little $ from it, so give to some studious lad, as mentioned above.
