I don't know if James Porter is on this forum or not but he has made quite an accomplishment. He has just finished a complete set of 2009 Lincoln Cent Formative Years doubled dies. PLUS, he has a possible unique DDR he recently added to the set. An amazing feat considering how many errors were reported in this series. He's on Facebook. Marilyn Keeney ( Her husband, Rufus is on the History Channel ) and several others helped him accomplish this task. This would be an excellent exhibit at any coin show.

What kind of Number are we looking at?

How can a DDR be unique? Wouldn't there be many coins by the mere fact that a Die had doubling? Wouldn't that have struck more than a single coin?

WDDR-094 is the possibly unique Doubled Die. The total number of coins in the set, I'm not sure, I have not checked Wexlers site in awhile. He's also working now on completing the various die stages. No albums for these yet, all are in a three ring binder so he can reposition them if and when any new ones are found.

Most certainly. But I guess his, so far, is a unique find. Once the news goes viral everyone will be looking for them, and once found, it will no longer be unique. Like all new discoveries, the Hot Lips dimes included.
