Well, this election is finally coming to a close (thankfully). I suppose we all hope our favorite candidate wins even if we don't like the choices. Well, in hopes we get a good president, I am posting my newest coin of the first of the Five Good Emperors, Trajan. This is one of his earlier coins as you can tell from his portrait. Like one of the other threads, Trajan's portraits changed over the years, I suppose in order to suit him. Lets just hope that we stop short of settling the matter the true Roman way. Both of the coins below celebrate the victory of the Just Augustus but it turned out that only one of them had the swords to back up his claims to being 'Just'. Pescennius Niger (loser) Septimius Severus (winner)

I chose Hadrian with a decent throne on reverse and a great ruler heading right. Congrats... To all the Great American People.
I just gave this one away, but I thought it would be appropriate to post given the topic and title of the thread. Spes, Goddess of Divine Hope... Hoping for the best for all my friends in the US!
