I’m Not Exactly Sure About This Token

This is one that I bought at an online auction awhile back and just recently opened. The price was right but I can’t believe the token. It’s a merchant token from 1850. S.A. Whitney from Glassboro, New Jersey is the merchant. It was labeled as a full reverse brockage and unusual for the series.
The reason I’m just not sure is due to how thin this token is. I have no doubt that it’s real but it’s very thin. I know nothing of this particular token. If you dplit a dime in half through the coin with the obverse on one piece snd the reverse on the other piece it’s about that thin.

Despite its rough look on both sides, it’s quite smooth. It leaves me lost. 7C98679C-EEE3-4F92-8EE0-1BD11465EEE8.jpeg

Looks to be only one half of a shell card...other half may be missing. Is there a seam or rolled edge on the rim?
