1985 D penny error. Missing "L" in liberty and also "In God"

    this is a very awesome penny I found about 6 months ago. I was wondering if you guys can please explain to me what I may have here. It looks like a misprint and the back looks kind of odd. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you very much

    What it could be a what we call a Struck Through Grease. Sometime debris can get into the working Obverse Die that is striking the Blank Planchet and this would not allow certain numbers, letters of images to be struck on the coin.
    It's a common occurrence.

    Also, Coins are not printed but struck. Paper currency is printed.

    Yes your Cent is considered a struck through grease. Common but with no huge premium.
    Here are 2 from my collection.. one minor and one major
