This was found in a planter, Outside a grocery store. (Denver Co) I would guess that it is a stolen jug. Maybe someone didn't want it anymore? If anyone has any information please Pm me.
The Granby chng token is a 1990 D Kennedy half, and the copper is a cinco centavo.
I was pretty excited to find more than the Jar. IMG_2620.JPG IMG_2620 (2).JPG

When I drove by it I thought the Jar must be broke, couldn't believe that it had coins in it.

Did the store have a coin exchange machine in it ? If so, maybe someone cashed in the coins but did not want to take the jug home. The two coins inside could have been rejected by the machine.

Probably the new jar for Quarters and Halves. Have to fight off the kid, he wants it for his change.

At my Coinstar #1 (CVS), the people who dump coins are notorious for leaving their dump jars/cans/etc...
