Campgate with Heavy Silvering

    I had a very difficult time cleaning this one to get any detail. The silvering is very thick and prohibits exposing too much close detail.
    Constantine I, AE3, 328-329, Siscia, Officina 2
    CONSTAN_TINVS AVG Laureate head right
    PROVIDEN_TIAE AVGG
    Campgate with eight rows, two turrets, no doors, star above, top row arches and dots in blocks, bottom row empty blocks BSIS double-crescent in exergue
    RIC VII, 214 (C3)
    Note: Entire outline and archway is comprised of dots instead of lines.

    Thanks for the feedback. It may have a dot after AVGG but the silver is so thick that I can't tell for sure.

    @expat ,
    I checked RIC VII, there is no avgg. in 214 or 215. The dot on the Wildwinds coin is on the lower edges of the campgate left and right( base with slaches ), and not standing free after avgg.

    You are correct. I was reading an incorrect attribution instead of looking at the coin image.

    If it helps here is one of my 214s albeit a different officina, 215 is similar with rosette diadem instead of laurel on his head.
