What are your thoughts? I have the two cracked planchets MS63 and AU58, the partial tilted collar AU58, and this. Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
I hate it when you don't give me larger pics of the other side. Looks like a rim/collar cud topleft of the obverse, by LU.
I know the 21's can be tricky. Do you think i should try and get high resolution images of the other 1921 to submit to vamworld since it has the die crack without an attribute that goes through the wing? Sent from my SM-G935P using Tapatalk
An unknown die crack is just that - an unknown die crack. Does not at all mean it's an unknown variety. It is more likely to be a crack currently unknown on an existing variety - very darn few Morgans have been researched exhaustively through their entire die life. A couple (few) dozen out of thousands, and all of the rest could have clashed or cracked states we haven't identified yet. The reason attributions are tricky is because not enough is known about that variety yet. Heck, a substantial percentage of them have too few images (or none at all) to successfully identify them. Don't forget, VAMming is nowhere near finished as a process, and indeed likely never will be. We're trying anyways.
