AU53 - An uneducated guess just for kicks I guess.

AU50? I like it, very nice Type Coin IMHO.

    MS-blurry face.

Can't really tell a grade from those pics. Appears attractive, semi-pl, and unc..maybe? Could be anything from AU-50 - MS-65.... maybe.

Nothing in those pictures definitively shows wear... as every single poster before me has indicated.

However, the price, which is revealed on a sticker on the reverse, has allowed me to grade the coin far more accurately than your pictures: it is a solid AU coin.

Perhaps every single poster saw that same price tag :p

It came out of an old collection. The 171 is what I have in it with grading. I wish I had something to take better pictures with but it looks alot better in hand. The 171 shouldn't be used to judge the grade

Yeah I thought the sticker might be a red herring, but I thought there is some luster loss in the fields, really hard to tell. Might even be a proof, for all I know about these, so I will wait for the reveal.

To show you how observant I can be, I didn't notice the 171 until someone else pointed it out.

I'm thinking AU details. Maybe the images?

is that a lamination on the back or what?

No laminations, maybe you are seeing shadow from the part of the slab holding the coin in.

Whoops forgot to post the grade. I can't see any wear on the coin, I figured it would grade at least 58 but I was thinking MS62

You say that, but the $171 enabled me to peg the grade: a solid AU.
