That's about an appropriate price for one. They're pretty common; PCGS and NGC have slabbed over ten thousand between them in that grade, and almost that many in 68.

    Nice grade, reasonable price.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

I don't know that I'd call it a "sweet deal." I would, instead, say you paid a fair price for a nice coin.

Out of curiosity, what made you think that was a counterfeit slab? I see absolutely nothing suspicious about it. It is an older model, but perfectly normal.

Just that the older slab tech is counterfeitable

What's interesting is that NGC made an error on the label on your slab.
    They put DOUBLE DIE

It's actually as you know a Doubled Die
As you can see it correctly labeled on my 2 1995 DDO slabs.

I also checked your NGC number on the NGC website and in the database it is named correctly.
Here is their info for your coin -

    I found mine in change, but it's only a 66RD 1995 DDO FS-101 Die 1 MS66RED 1.jpg

When these were first found, it was crazy. How many here were searching 1995 bags looking for them?

Judging from the slab populations, a whole_lot of people were searching for them. :)
