Thoughts on the 1940 S Walking Liberty Half

    Just wondering: are these typically struck lightly? I feel most of the MS ones I am looking at are flat and lacking lots of detail. Thoughts and knowledge appreciated!

    Not sure about that but it's by far one of the nicest designs in US coins.

    Not a specialist in Walkers, but, IMO probably the worst strike in the entire series...regardless of what people say about the 41 S.
